Join us.Director - Commercial Strategy & PerformanceIntroduction To The Team:Travel Partnerships and Media helps partners deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences, driving growth for them and the EG marketplace through competitive supply, a valued advertising and travel media network, and affiliate solutions.Make An Impact:Travel Partnerships and Media (TPM) is looking for a strategic forward-looking Director, Commercial Strategy and Performance to play a meaningful role in evolving our business and redefining the travel industry.In this role, as part of the Strategy and Performance team, you will lead commercial strategy for the next generation of travel challenges and opportunities. In direct support of the Hotel Enterprise Partnerships team, who are responsible for our largest hotel chain partners, you will be responsible for establishing commercial guidelines, evaluation of commercial models and running strategic projects. This includes defining objectives and priorities, evaluating investment priorities and ensuring results.This is a leadership role with considerable exposure to our TPM Leadership Teams.If you enjoy being results-oriented, collaborative, and owning end-to-end commercial strategic projects then join this dynamic and mighty team!In This Role You Will:

  • Establish commercial guidelines and models for 360-degree partnerships combining commercial considerations with long term Expedia Group strategy.
  • Help recognize and frame strategic opportunities in a structured way to clearly communicate options, risks, and trade-offs.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to inspire change by identifying and implementing the best ways of working across the organization.
  • Drive decision-making and alignment by working across TPM and Expedia Group.
  • Lead strategic projects and lead investigations to drive the business forward.
  • Facilitate the delivery of the annual plan and divisional scorecard results.
  • Help team members identify and build key relationships and networks inside and outside the organization.
  • Examples of initiatives: Identifying and launching new products or business models, negotiation support and commercial guideline development. Pricing and go-to-market strategy, sales and operational efficiency, supply/demand investments, etc.Experience and Qualifications:
    • You are someone with strong communication and relationship-building skills and experience leading projects with teams in various locations.
    • You are able to influence internal and external Senior Level decision makers by being a subject matter expert.
    • You bring excellent quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills and an ability to translate metrics, research and trends into viable strategies.
    • You see the 'big picture' and to effectively prioritize and drive multiple projects.
    • You are a self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
    • Experience in commercial negotiations or supporting/advisory role preferred.
    • 10+ years' experience in strategy consulting and/or similar role in a leading technology company; MBA is a plus.
