candidates near other TRC offices ()The Technical Project Lead is
responsible for providing guidance and assistance towards the
overall project's technical solution and implementation. They own
the technical delivery on an end-to-end basis and have the
workstreams report to them. The Technical Project Lead has
knowledge of all areas of the project and can provide support and
guidance as needed to the various project resources and Project
stakeholders and participants. The Technical Lead is also
responsible for providing technical support for the project
technical workstreams (SCAD, SOM, OMS and ADMS) where and when
required. They also assist the solution vendor troubleshoot and
resolve all escalated technical issues.In addition, the Technical
Lead works with the Client's Enterprise Architecture and System
Development teams to ensure that the solution meets and respects
both Client's requirements and is aligned with the application
vendor's solution. They will assist the Client's team in ensuring
that all project Architecture artifacts are completed and up to
date.Responsibilities
- The Technical Project Lead will be co-responsible for
delivering this project to completion and owns the technical scope
for the project. The responsibility is co-shared with the Customer
project manager and the Customer CTO, who both report to the
Executive Project sponsor at the TRC Customer.
- Provide substantiated analysis of the best technical
segmentation of the project to enable a consistent incremental
delivery of the solution that benefits the time-to-value for TRC
customers and is fully adopted by the Customer end-users.
- Provide guidance to all customer technical leads involved in
the project to establish a clear and consensual view of the content
to deliver at every step of the project delivery and the
interdependencies across project streams.
- Contribute to the planning of the overall project and upcoming
sprints. He/she will ensure that all technical dependencies are
covered with a plan.
- Collaborate with the customer technical leads to come up with
and maintain a list of technical gaps vs the requirements and will
contribute to the resolution of the gaps with the technology
provider.
- Conduct on-demand analysis and recommendations of the technical
options to resolve gaps to facilitate decision making by the
Customer executive level. Those can cover all domains: SCADA, EMS,
DMS, OMS, GMS.
- Contribute to the technical consistency validation of the
backlog at the beginning of each step, to ensure that it matches
the overall plan for the project execution.
- Contribute to the definition and adoption by all project
members (Customer and Supplier) of the process to use Software
Management Tools such as Jira/Confluence.
- Will contribute to the definition and adoption by all project
members (Customer and Supplier) of a data-based physical progress
measurement on all project streams.
- Participate in the project governance and own the reporting on
major technical roadblocks resolution.
- Ensure that the delivered solution is compliant with the
contractual requirements and that any gaps are covered with a scope
change agreement.Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years Technical Leadership/Project Management
experience in the utility domain.
- Previous experience with products from one of the major
SCADA/EMS/DMS providers including GE, OSII, ABB, AVEVA (Schneider),
Siemens, etc.
- Excellent organizational, decision making, and communication
skills.
- Ability to self-direct and work independently as well as in a
team environment.
- Excellent team building and motivational skills.
- Experience with SCADA/EMS/DMS installations, data migration,
configurations, testing, troubleshooting, and deployments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the
ability to clearly present information to various audiences in both
formal and informal settings. French speaking is a strong
value-add.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering

below salary range is applicable for the job and location
associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon
experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and

Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and
Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which
