  • Assess and identify tax compliance and consulting needs of the client
  • Review complex tax returns: individual (1040), estate (1041), and some partnership (1065) tax returns
  • Review complex tax computations, workpapers, and tax entries
  • Proactively identify new and additional service opportunities and offer recommendations
  • Oversee the delegation of tasks to appropriate members of the PCS team
  • Responsible for signing tax returns
  • Manage year-end planning and quarterly tax estimates
  • Oversee processes addressing IRS or State Taxing Authority notices
  • Delegate and oversee the initial preparation and set-up of client files
  • Research tax laws and offer guidance on complex tax technical issuesWhat You Need for this Position
    • At least 5+ yrs of Public accounting experience
    • At least 2+ yrs of Management experience
    • Active CPA license
    • Extensive 1040/1041 experience
    • Experience with 1065 is a plusWhat's In It for You
