Service Technician

FULL-TIME

$24/hr

Scootaround Powered By WHILL is looking for a Service & Repair Technician to help in:

- Executing the effective and efficient delivery of service and repairing on mobility equipment provided by Scootaround Powered By WHILL located at our warehouse in Seattle, Washington State. This includes equipment located at any off-site locations.
- Conducting safety audits, quality control, training, documenting.
- Perform maintenance services for the Scootaround Powered By WHILL equipment (Scooters, Wheelchairs, Powerchairs, Strollers and WHILL Devices).
- Keeping track of parts used during service activities and maintain logs of equipment serviced.
- Performing periodic equipment and parts inventories and place parts orders.
- Keeping track of tools and be responsible for the care and custody of the tools used during performing the day-to-day maintenance routines.
- Performing installation and maintenance services on new equipment.
- Performing tasks utilizing various hand tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, trucks, and vans.
- Assisting on occasion with loading and unloading of mobility equipment from trucks and trailers.
- Assisting with pressure washing and detailing of mobility equipment.
- Assisting during the week with facilitating equipment orders (Delivery Driving).
- Assisting on occasion with warehouse clean-up and organization.
- Communicating issues and results routinely to supervisors.
- Completing all required paperwork accurately and timely.
- Complying with all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
- Complying with Track About (Asset Management System) protocols and requirements.
- Providing excellent Internal and External Customer Service.
- Performing other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Shift start: Based on route

  • Must pass background check
  • Can lift 50 lbs - Effective communication are key elements of the position. - Experience servicing or maintaining equipment. - Mechanically inclined and skillful in use of all types of tools. - Valid driver license. - 2-5 years' experience servicing or maintaining equipment. - Ability to operate a Forklift and other warehouse equipment is a plus. - Should have good physical conditioning and should be able to push, pull, lift, stack & stage and able to work in a fast-paced physical environment. - Limited computer knowledge and working with office management tools. - Flexible and able to work all shifts including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. - Ability to travel on occasion and able to work outdoors. - Ability to learn quickly, multi-task and work in a changing environment.
