Innova Solutions has a client which is immediately hiring for Additive Manufacturing and Prototyping Technician.

Position Type: Full time contract
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Tukwila, WA-Onsite

As an Additive Manufacturing and Prototyping Technician, you will
Position Responsibilities:
Post-process SLA (Stereolithography) parts, including support removal, UV curing, surface smoothing, and final finishing.
Apply manual and machine finishing techniques, including sanding, bead blasting, and polishing, to achieve desired part aesthetics and functionality.
Utilize adhesives, primers, and coatings to enhance part durability and appearance.
Operate and maintain additive manufacturing equipment, including SLA, SLS, PolyJet, FDM, and DMLS systems.
Develop and document post-processing workflows for SLA and other additive technologies.
Work directly with customers to optimize designs for manufacturability and post-processing efficiency.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Hands-on experience with post-processing of SLA and other AM parts.
Proficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
Understanding of adhesives, paints, and surface finishing techniques for AM materials.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in post-processing quality control.
Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D CAD drawings for post-processing requirements


Preferred qualifications:
Additive Manufacturing experience
Design experience; prototyping and part design
Experience with spray painting and finishing models or assemblies
Work efficiently in a fast-paced R&D environment
Collaborate with both our team and our customers
Focus on customer needs and ability to work directly with customers towards goals

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range : $45 to $48 per hour, depending on experience level & skill set.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
