Job Description:
BrainChild Bio is seeking to hire a defined-period contract
Scientist specializing in targeted gene editing in pluripotent stem
cells to add to our growing team. This role will drive early-stage
development of BrainChild's next generation cell therapy products.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience designing and
executing gene editing strategies in iPSC or HPSC using CRISPR,
TALEN, and other common gene editing tools. The ideal candidate has
experience building experimental flows to efficiently screen and
optimize editing, with experience leveraging basic laboratory
automation a plus. Additional preferred experience is the culture
and differentiation of iPSCs post editing. Proficient use of lab
e-notebook experience and report writing is essential. The
candidate will play a critical role in the development of
BrainChild's technology platforms as we seek to develop our
allogeneic cell therapy program. As a key team member in the
development of our products, the candidate will deliver subject
matter expertise and project input to cross functional teams as we
build toward future milestones.Responsibilities:
