Job Description:

BrainChild Bio is seeking an enthusiastic, self-driven Senior Scientist to join its Process Development team. The successful candidate will lead a team of associate scientists and engineers to design, execute, and analyze experiments that drive the development of novel processes and technologies for manufacturing T-cell therapies. This position requires positive, collaborative leadership abilities, clear organizational skills, and excellent prioritization to help drive cross-functional initiatives focused on creating novel products and manufacturing platforms.   • Lead team of associate scientists/engineers to develop processes for T-cell products and provide scientific mentorship
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments that examine cell processing methods and their impact on T-cell biology
  • Collaborate with MSAT, Analytical, and external partners to develop and implement process technologies and platforms within a GMP cell therapy manufacturing process
  • Author, review, and/or approve development reports, regulatory filings, and other controlled documents
  • Participate in, and may lead, cross-functional teams or projects.
  • Clearly communicate ideas and results to stakeholders via written and verbal formatsQualifications:
    • Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Immunology or equivalent with 4+ years of technical experience or B.S./M.S. with 8+ years of experience in cell therapy process development
    • Expertise in statistical experimental design (DOE) with proficiency in JMP
    • Experience with early-stage development activities including authoring and reviewing regulatory filings and supporting documentation
    • Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams, meet deadlines, and prioritize work
    • Working knowledge of immunology, cell biology, and analytical techniques including flow cytometry and cell-based assays.
    • Strong technical writing and oral presentation skills
    • Flexibility with work schedule (i.e., occasional weekend work)$130,000 - $150,000 a year
