Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: MS/Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Compact License or WA single state acceptable Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Two references within the last year: one manager and one RN or above - RTO must be submitted prior to acceptance - Ability to float within the facility as needed - Epic charting experience preferred Job Description: - Provide care to a diverse patient population including medicine, cardiology, renal, and psych patients, as well as those with CHF, MI, COPD, CIWA, Sepsis, pancreatitis, liver/renal failure, wound care, respiratory illness, endocarditis, overdoses, CVA, and trauma-related conditions. - Required skills include triage and telemetry. - Preferred skills include IV start and experience with level 1 trauma. - Be part of a Magnet and Teaching facility with approximately 500 staffed beds. - Work within a unit that provides various types of care, including neuro, neuro-surgery, surgical, ortho, and care for some minor burn patients. - Participate in a structured orientation process, which includes pre-start modules and EPIC training during orientation. - Weekend requirements include 4 weekend shifts per schedule. - Candidates must pass an EKG exam with an 80% score. - Compliance deadline is approximately 3 business days prior to start date. - Orientation will involve 5-6 non-billable hours for RNs. Note: COVID-19 vaccine is not required, and the flu vaccine status is unknown. Ensure all desired time off is submitted as RTO prior to acceptance.
