Description: DescriptionA food broker with 40 years based in Southern California is looking for an aspiring sales professional/merchandiser to assume the role targeting fresh sales and merchandising to supermarkets, primarily in the service bakery and deli. We are looking for a highly motivated individual wanting to build their career by helping us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team's potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management. A passion for food (a foodie) is expected.ResponsibilitiesAchieve growth and hit sales targetsDesign and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensure its strong presenceBuild and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needsPresent sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management teamIdentify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition statusReport positive and negative hapenings in local retail markets This individual will have the benefit of working with an exceptional team of seasoned professionals. The ability to balance the demands of managing multiple product lines and customers is a must.
