reporting to the Manager, you will supervise the cleaning and
services of an assigned area within the budget required to maintain
company and customer quality standards.Your work will include:
- Overseeing daily operations of the custodial staff, providing
guidance, training, and feedback to ensure high service
levels.
- Developing and managing work schedules to ensure adequate
coverage for tasks, events, and special projects.
- Conducting regular inspections to maintain high cleaning
standards and addressing deficiencies promptly.
- Managing inventory and supply levels, ensuring timely ordering
and restocking of cleaning products and equipment.
- Enforcing health and safety regulations, ensuring staff use
proper protective equipment and follow safety protocols.
- Responding to emergency cleaning situations quickly and
effectively.
- Coordinating with vendors for specialty cleaning services or
equipment maintenance.
- Monitoring the custodial budget and identifying cost-saving
opportunities.
- Providing ongoing training and professional development for
custodial team members.
- Maintaining accurate records of custodial tasks, inspections,
performance, and incidents, and preparing reports for
management.
- Organizing and supervising large-scale cleaning projects,
ensuring timely completion and high standards.
- Evaluating and recommending improvements to custodial
operations and introducing new technologies to increase
efficiency.QualificationsWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- At least 2 years of experience in cleaning and supervisory
roles within a large facility.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and perform tasks
independently with minimal supervision.
- A valid driver's license is required for this role.
- Flexibility with start and end times, including the ability to
work weekends and statutory holidays as required.
- A clear criminal background check is mandatory for this
