State Bank the Human Capital Business Partner III provides human
resources (HR) consultation to our business units. Using working
knowledge of the business to provide HR support and guidance. Will
partner directly with business leaders to define and execute HR
strategies that align with business objectives and key initiatives.
Analyzes trends and develops strategies to resolve HR issues and
make a positive impact on business results. Leads organizational
assessments that convert strategies into result-driven actions.
Provides change-management support as needed. Acts as a liaison
with other Human Capital functions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Handles complex employee relations cases, escalated grievances,
and contract administration. Partners with leadership to navigate
labor relations challenges and workforce strategy.
- Develops and implements performance management strategies that
support unionized workforce engagement while maintaining high
accountability and compliance.
- Conducts labor law compliance reviews and trains managers on
labor relations best practices. Develops policy frameworks and
ensures proactive labor law compliance.
- Manages complex investigations involving high-risk cases
(harassment, discrimination), ensuring compliance with CBAs and
employment law.
- Supports labor contract administration, assists in grievance
handling, and educates managers on contract compliance.
- Serves as a strategic HR advisor to executives, driving a labor
relations strategy that supports business goals and ethical labor
practices.
- Aligns HC and business goals, anticipates workforce risks, and
leads workforce strategy that supports the bank's commitment to
social responsibility.
- Manages change initiatives, coaches leaders on driving
engagement, and collaborates with unions on workplace
transitions.
- Influences enterprise-wide L&D strategies, ensures training
programs reflect the bank's commitment to fair labor practices and
social justice.
- Completes mandatory compliance training in accordance with
established deadlines.
- The position performs duties specific to the position and other
functions as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTSMinimum Qualifications
- 7 years of comprehensive HR experience with knowledge of
multiple disciplines, including compensation; organizational
development; employee and labor relations; diversity, equity and
inclusion; grievance handling and employee/labor relations
strategy.
- 2 years of experience working in an organization with
collective bargaining agreements.
- Thorough understanding of employment and labor laws,
regulations and guidelines (including but not limited to ADA, FMLA,
FLSA, Title VII, NLRA, etc.)
- Experience in a multi-state operating environment.Preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources with experience in
industrial/organizational psychology, organizational behavior, or
organizational development.
- Professional certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP/
SCP.COMPENSATIONThe posted pay range is the lowest to highest
compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at
posting for this role but may include ranges from the different
geographies where this position may be based. New employees'
starting pay is usually from the start of the range to
approximately 25% of the max, more qualified and/or experienced
employees may start near the middle of the range for their
geography. We may ultimately pay more or less than this
range.Compensation for our organization is based on factors that
include the role, required knowledge, skills, abilities and
competencies, and candidates' relevant education, qualifications,
certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location,
performance, union contract and business needs. Our pay ranges are
based on national living wage indexes, such as MIT's living wage
index, to enable us to pay our employees beyond what are standard
practices for many employers, and also take into account
geographically-specific recent compensation market survey data for
