Postdoctoral Research Scientist (Seattle, WA)IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist (Food Microbiology or related field) position at its facility in Seattle, WA.Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the Special Projects and/or consulting team at IEH, performing a variety of projects in food science and food microbiology.
• Conduct bench work, proposal/report writing, data analysis, and general laboratory tasks as needed.
• Occasionally travel to client sites for project assignments, which may include taking environmental samples and performing on-site validation studies.
• Help with on-site observations of manufacturing and processing practices, data analysis, and report writing.Qualifications:
• PhD degree in Food Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field.
• Highly motivated and proactive with a strong passion for food microbiology/safety and food science.This position may require occasional travel assignments, weekend work, and extended hours. The pay range for this position is $75,000.00 - $78,000.00 annually.
