Verus is in search of an operations team member to join our office in Seattle. Candidates should have at least two years related work experience in investment operations and/or a trading group.The Operational role is an integral part of the operations team, working with current Operation staff in the administration and support of the Discretionary platform, Operational Due diligence ("ODD") of investment managers and consultant team support.The expected duties of the Operations representative are as follows:Involvement in the day-to-day operational activities for discretionary accounts that include:

• Daily security pricing updates
• Cash reconciliation
• Position price update for non-daily assets
• Position Reconciliations
• Reconciliation of executed trades to confirm settlement with discretionary trading
• Preparation of trade directives and wire directives for execution
• Capital call management and activity within discretionary accounts
• Set up and completion of document with fund managers for investment by discretionary accountsInitial reviews of ODDs of external manager, communicating with the manager and senior operational staff in the review and completion of ODD reports. Consultant team support to center around non-discretionary trade directive reviews and trading. Work with the consultant team on the drafting and processing of trade directives for client approved transactions. Contribute to the implementation and ongoing management of various technology platforms utilized by the OCIO team. Other operational tasks as assigned.Prerequisites:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years related work experience in investment operations and/or a trading group.Our office culture is one that values in-person collaboration and interaction.
