Job Description:
A company is looking for a Data Governance Specialist to develop
a tailored health data governance framework aligned with industry
standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate collaboration across leadership, legal teams, and
stakeholders to establish a health data governance framework
Oversee data governance practices, including management protocols
for data integrity, usability, and security
Lead the development of policies and procedures for data
management, privacy, and compliance in collaboration with the
Compliance Officer
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in health administration, computer science,
information systems, or related field; MBA preferred
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data governance or
data management; 7-9 years preferred
Advanced understanding of data management laws and regulations such
as GDPR and HIPAA
Experience developing data governance processes and coordinating
multi-disciplinary teams
Certification in data governance preferred
