Role: Sr. Software Engineer (backend focused, full stack preferred -- Kotlin / Java using Spring Boot)Company: Series B real estate tech company, ranked in the top 13% of fastest growing private companies in the US! *more detail provided via email prior to initial call*Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid)Seeking senior-level engineers with experience in Kotlin or Java using Spring Boot OR Javascript or TypeScript using React on Node, in Seattle or open to relo to Seattle.___________________________________________________________________________________________________Responsibilities

• Be part of a fast moving agile team, delivering products in a continuous delivery environment
• Work with other senior engineers to continually drive for simplification of the technology landscape
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and marketing, to execute the product roadmap
• Perform maintenance and optimization of existing systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
• Perform code reviews, mentor other engineers, perform incident retrospectives, and participate in a culture of shared learning
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform decision-making and technology adoptionQualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development
  • Fullstack experience, with emphasis on backend product engineering highly preferred
  • Strong technical skills in modern programming languages and frameworks including: Kotlin or Java using Spring Boot OR Javascript or TypeScript using React on Node
  • Experience with both relational and non-relational databases; especially document databases like MongoDB and SQL based databases like PostgreSQL
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and architectures
  • Familiarity with service oriented architectures, microservices, and APIs
  • Experience in building scalable, high-availability systems, with a focus on simplicity and security
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
