Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at The Greenwood American Bistro by Model Restaurant Group. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong culinary background and excellent leadership skills.Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive Culinary Team: Collaborate with our experienced culinary team to develop and implement menus, train staff, and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Menu Development and Execution: Assist in creating new menu items, manage inventory, and control costs to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and customers.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the culinary team to manage inventory levels, minimize waste, and control costs.Requirements:
    • 4+ years of experience in a culinary role, with previous experience as a sous chef.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems, scheduling tools, and inventory management platforms.
    • Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred.
