Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Prepared Foods Cook to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a wide variety of food items in our cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars.Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare food items according to production sheets and recipes, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Food Presentation: Ensure that all prepared items are labeled, dated, covered, monitored for quality and freshness, and rotated.
• Inventory Management: Monitor food levels and replenish in a timely manner.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.Requirements
  • 6-12 months retail experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for natural foods and the mission of Whole Foods Market.Working Conditions
    • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
    • Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
