Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Store Team Operations Manager to join our team at Whole Foods Market. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Store Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a retail environment and excellent leadership skills.Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Develop Team Members: The Store Team Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Team Members to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assist with Store Operations: The Store Team Operations Manager will assist the Store Team Leader with various aspects of store operations, including analysis of sales reports, labor, and inventory management.
• Maintain a Positive Store Environment: The Store Team Operations Manager will maintain a positive store environment by providing excellent customer service, promoting a positive company image, and ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Develop and Maintain Product Knowledge: The Store Team Operations Manager will develop and maintain advanced product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products and promotions.
• Manage Vendor Relationships: The Store Team Operations Manager will maintain good vendor relationships, develop new vendor relationships, and ensure all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.Requirements
  • 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop Team Members.
  • Advanced product knowledge and ability to stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
