Bakery Order Writer Job DescriptionAt Whole Foods Market, we are seeking a highly skilled Bakery Order Writer to join our team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery department.Key Responsibilities:

• Product Management: Replenish products through proper buying procedures, monitor and act upon open PO reports, and request proper signage.
• Inventory Control: Control spoilage/shrink, achieve turn goals, and participate in inventory.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with vendors, leadership, and team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive working relationship.Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: 12+ months retail experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of bakery, coffee, and juice products, strong basic math skills, and ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day, and work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.We offer a competitive wage range of $21.00 - $31.50 Hourly, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
