About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Catering Cook to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena. As a Catering Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our guests.Key Responsibilities

• Review menus and guest orders to determine the type and quantities of food to be prepared.
• Measure and portion all food items accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize kitchen equipment to prepare food items, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly.
• Ensure the freshness and quality of all menu items and package products to proper specifications.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines.
• Keep workstations, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
• Follow and uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations.Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have open availability.
  • Previous experience as a catering cook is required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
  • Basic math skills; ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions.Working ConditionsThe Catering Cook will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with moderate-to-high noise levels.
