As a One Medical Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist, you'll provide an exceptional experience for patients and help them accomplish an important part of their care journey. You'll be an ambassador for patients in office, with a mastery of human connection and a strong drive for service. Your responsibilities will include venipuncture, dispensary responsibilities, and other clinical support services, as well as front-of-house duties, team development, and daily office upkeep.

  • Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization
  • Continue to care for members beyond the lab room by answering patient messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting providers and virtual medical teams with clerical duties
  • Use impeccable C-I-CARE in all patient interactions and ensure a fluid and positive in-office experience
  • Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, participating in team problem solving, and supporting in-office providers with ad hoc asks

    Requirements:
    • An active phlebotomy certification to practice in WA and at least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • A High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
    • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams

      Benefits:
      • Competitive salary: starts at $24 per hour based on a full-time schedule
      • Paid sabbatical after every 5 years
      • Employee Assistance Program - free confidential advice for team members
      • Competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans
      • Free One Medical memberships for yourself, your friends, and family
      • PTO cash outs - option to cash out up to 40 accrued hours per year
      • 401K match
      • Credit towards emergency childcare
      • Extra contributions toward maternity and paternity leave
      • Paid Life Insurance - One Medical pays 100% of the cost of Basic Life Insurance
      • Disability insurance - One Medical pays 100% of the cost of Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance

This is a full-time role with 8-hour shifts generally taking place between 8am-5pm based in Federal Way, WA at one of our offices.
