Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Afterhours Registered Nurse to join our team at Assured Hospice of Port Angeles, a part of LHC Group.As an Afterhours Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to develop trusting relationships with patients and their families, providing end-of-life care and support.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive and timely delivery of hospice care for patients and their families after regular business hours.
• Triage patient needs over the phone until a nurse can provide an in-person visit.
• Respond to crisis calls from patients and families afterhours.
• Make initial nursing evaluations and perform afterhours visits, including admission visits, death visits, recertification visits, and routine visits.Requirements:
  • One year of clinical experience.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice and one year of clinical experience.
  • Current CPR Certification.
