Job Description:
The hiring range for this role is: 125,870.00 - 176,525.00This
is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would
pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately
pay more or less than the hiring range and this hiring range may
also be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the
hiring range may be based on several factors including, but not
limited to, specific competencies, relevant education,
qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills,
seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or
organizational needs.This job is also eligible for annual bonus

discretion, consistent with the law.Assists in developing long-term
strategy for the BCBSA internal Data Management & Governance
efforts. Provides leadership, subject matter expertise and process
support related to business process and data flow design and
documentation, Facilitates best practices between Plans regarding
data governance practices. Identifies trusted data sources and key
process data consumers and creators.. Leads the activities of the
Data Governance council(s) and work group(s). Develops and executes
strategies designed to improve understanding of business process,
data flow, data governance and data quality. Collaborate with data
partners such as InfoSec, legal and Data Foundation Solutions.
Support business rule definition and requirements for analytic
reports and data quality measures. Support data analytics and data
delivery efforts to include guidance on proper data selection, data
relationship, creation of reports / analytics and quality review of
department work products. Continually aware of industry best
practices and tool sets. Must reach consensus with Plan workgroups
on difficult and complex issues. Coordination of own work
activities with those of other Data Governance team members to
maximize team effectiveness.Provides leadership and subject matter
expertise related to business process design and documentation and
data flow design and documentation as well as creation and
maintenance of metadata for company information assetsFacilitates
the creation and maintenance of comprehensive business process and
annotated data flow diagrams. Identifies trusted data sources and
key process data consumers and creators.Leads the activities of the
Data Governance council(s) and work group(s) including guidance and
subject matter expertise, production of collateral materials,
leading / driving discussion and decisions and identifying and
driving the resolution of data and process issuesDevelops and
executes strategies designed to improve understanding of business
process, data flow, data governance and data
quality.EducationRequired: Bachelor's degree in business,
information technology, healthcare or equivalent
experiencePreferred: Master's degree in business, information
technology healthcare or equivalent
