Connect Platform team plays a vital role in helping engineering
teams collaborate effectively to deliver web sites and APIs to both
content partners and internal teams. As an Engineering Program
Manager for Connect Platform, you'll be instrumental in driving
cross-functional projects and modernizing platforms that enhance
customer experience. The role demands expertise in managing
complex, multi-functional software projects in a fast-paced
environment with dynamic priorities. You'll serve as the central
coordinator between different teams across Apple Services, ensuring
smooth delivery of groundbreaking technology.DescriptionThe
position requires a strong technical background with 5+ years of
experience in technical software Project or Program Management,
along with a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
You'll need to demonstrate excellence in driving complex software
projects and integrations, with preferred experience in platforms
related to building REST and web applications. Working at Apple's

- Partner with software engineers and managers from the Connect
Platform team.
- You not only serve as an ambassador of the platform, but you
can use the platform and educate peer teams on getting
started.
- Define, schedule, track, and report status of the team's
work.
- Coordinate delivery on groundbreaking technology across Apple's
ecosystem.
- Drive cross-functional projects across Apple's Services.
- Lead strategic initiatives to modernize platforms and
technology.Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as a technical software Project or Program
Manager.
- Strong experience driving complex and multi-functional software
projects and integrations.
- Experience managing projects using Agile project management
methodologies.
- Experience managing projects and programs through the software
development lifecycle from requirements to production.
- Experience writing and maintaining business and technical
requirements documentation.
- BS in Computer Science or related experience.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Strong experience supporting software platforms and their
adoption.
- Experience leading highly technical/complex software
projects.
- Strong background in driving programs including but not limited
to: reporting, capacity planning, etc.
- Ability to drive and participate in technical discussions.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and enthusiastic.
- Demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to build relationships and influence others.
- Excellent presentation, spoken and written communication skills
including the ability to tailor communication style to multiple
audiences.
- High attention to detail; ability to quickly absorb terminology
and understand dependencies across various technology stacks.
- Highly organized; proven track record of defining processes and
establishing them.Additional Requirements:
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation
package and is determined within a range. This provides the
opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The
base pay range for this role is between $157,000 and $278,900, and
your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications,
experience, and location.
