Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager, Data Ingestion to lead a
team of Data and Software Engineers focused on data ingestion and
processing.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of Data and Software Engineers to ingest, catalog,
and preprocess data
Mentor and promote the professional growth of team members while
participating in code reviews
Collaborate with Project Management to execute large-scale projects
and improve engineering processes
Required Qualifications
7+ years of total engineering experience, with at least 2 years in
a Data Engineering leadership role
Previous experience solving similar problems as an individual
contributor
Experience with agile project management and leading sprint
planning
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, especially Google Cloud
Platform (GCP)
Experience hiring, mentoring, and coaching engineers
