Job Title: Director of NursingLeaderStat is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Tacoma, Washington.Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our healthcare team in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, quality management, and staff development.Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Develop and implement effective quality management strategies to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of the healthcare team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Requirements:
  • At least two years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a long-term care setting.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state assigned or in an eligible Nurse Compact State.
  • Demonstrated competencies in healthcare management and operations, quality management, staff development, and resident and family support systems.
  • Possess empathy and passion for serving others.
  • Strong computer literacy and competency skills.
  • Up-to-date clinical compliance.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR via the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Two-step TB test.
