looking for a highly skilled full stack engineer to help us make
this vision a reality. We are building first-in-class web
applications that will drive research and decision-making in drug
discovery and elsewhere; this role will be a main contributor and
owner in that space and work in conjunction with Product/UX, AI/ML
engineering, Platform engineering, and stakeholders to deliver
AI/ML powered data and insights to end users in these key business
areas.Ideal candidates will have a solid track record of designing,
developing, and delivering high-quality, well-documented, and
thoroughly tested front-end applications, preferably within the
Life Sciences and/or data science sector. Proficiency in innovative
front-end technologies such as React, Vue.js, or Angular as well as
front-end application frameworks such as Node.js is required.
Candidates should have years of experience working on cloud
application stacks including development, deployment, and
support-proficiency in Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
Experience and aptitude in backend development tasks such as data
modeling, API development, and DevOps will be strong
differentiators. Experience with data visualization libraries such
as D3.js or Chart.js is also desirable.Candidates should be
prepared to stay updated and adapt to the rapidly evolving
landscape of front-end development in AI/ML applications. Strong
candidates will have either pursued graduate studies in Computer
Science or possess equivalent professional experience. An
educational or professional background in the biological sciences
is a plus, but not necessary. The AI/ML team is built on the

Qualifications:We are looking for professionals with these required
skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science, preferably
focused on software engineering, data visualization, or machine
learning. Candidates not meeting these academic requirements will
be considered if demonstrating 8+ years of industry experience in
software/data visualization.
- 5+ years of industry experience in building and maintaining
front-end applications serving end users in production
environment.
- Experience in a front-end framework such as React, Vue, or
Angular, or a full-stack web framework like Next.js.
- Experience in database design and management, SQL and backend
framework language like Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Experience working in Cloud environment such as GCP or similar,
including use of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Experience with: Linux, Git, Docker, cloud hosting stacks e.g.
Cloud Run, and CICD providers like Github Actions.Preferred
Qualifications:If you have the following characteristics, it would
be a plus:
- Ideal technical applicants should have a proven record of
accomplishment in system and architecture design, deployment
support, release management, and full stack development.
- Candidates who are passionate about software/production best
practices will be preferred.
- Experience working with data visualization libraries such as
D3.js or Chart.js is a plus, but not required.
- Competitive candidates will be agile-minded, demonstrating
clear proficiency in iterative software development and
prototyping.
- Candidates who have worked on applications in the biological
sciences and/or academic background in related fields will be
strongly considered.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and ability to work
effectively with design teams is preferred.The annual base salary
for new hires in this position ranges from $130,900 to $177,100
taking into account a number of factors including work location
within the US market, the candidate's skills, experience, education
level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position
offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share
based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level
