Job Description

PDI Technician services vehicles as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures, which includes prepping new cars for delivery, installing software downloads, installing parts and accessories and performing multi-point vehicle inspections and other tasks as assigned. He or she must follow all safety policies and procedures at all times, which includes properly using personal protective equipment when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepping new cars for delivery
• Inspects fluid level of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housing, and shackles
• Checks air pressure of tires
• Installing software downloads
• Installing parts and accessories
• Performing multi-point vehicle inspections
• Puts appropriate company labeling/stickers on
• Works in a cooperative and professional manner with all personnel
• Maintains a professional demeanor while on the job and treats members of the public in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner
• Conforms to the company's policies on non-discrimination and harassment
• Attends training in the company's hazard communication program (workers' right to know) and properly uses chemical inventory list, material safety data sheet (MSDS), and required personal protective equipment (hearing protection, goggles, proper footwear, etc.)
• Performs other duties as assigned
