ACRS seeks a full-time Recovery Services Director who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Recovery Services (RS) Program. Assures sufficient number of staff to conduct program services. Directly supervises program management staff. Develops and monitors program budget and contracts. Coordinates services with internal agency departments, external organizations, and funders. Studies and analyzes community needs for basis of program development. Communicates and is a liaison to external individuals or groups regarding agency programs and services with attention to cultural relevance and competency. ***Usual Schedule: Mon - Fri, Hybrid work is available and based on agency needs. Competitive Benefits Package includes:
    • Pay range is between $117,000 to $133,000 annually and is based on experience with possible increases after 6 months from date of hire.

      • Employee assistance program Essential Job Functions:
        • Plans, organizes and oversees the day-to-day operations of the RS program. Ensures that program and contract requirements, goals and standards are met. Monitors overall quality of services, works with staff to achieve department-identified goals. Develops program policies and procedures.
        • Monitors overall staff performance and assists department staff through individual and group conferences in understanding of program issues, effectiveness and goals. Enforces agency personnel policies and procedures, resolves departmental concerns, and responsible for hiring and termination decisions.
        • Manages program contracts. Conducts contract negotiation. Assures contract compliance and achievement of contract objectives, submits contract reports as needed. Prepares for and staffs program audits/reviews/site visits. Develops and maintains relationships with funders.
        • Conducts program planning and development to meet the RS program needs and resources, especially related to integrated managed care including attention to integrating across clinical and non-clinical programs and coordinating with administrative departments. Researches and determines availability of untapped resources as appropriate to needs and program/agency goals. Makes recommendations for development of new services or enhancement of existing services. Develops and prepares grant proposals for new and/or expanded services and funding. Implements new and/or expanded services.
        • Develops, monitors, analyzes and is accountable for all program service and financial reports for the RS program. Working with the Deputy Director, develops and oversees the budget for the RS program.
        • Represents agency in community planning processes for issues and advocacy pertaining to Recovery Services. Attends community meetings. Promotes and maintains working relationships with other agencies and funders. Promotes culturally relevant and competent services. Advocates on behalf of Asian/Pacific Islander and other communities.
        • Promotes and maintains overall communication flow within the RS program, between program staff and management, and with other internal agency departments. Plans and conducts department staff meetings. Communicates and coordinates with other departments.
        • Other job-related duties as assigned by management. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
          • Master's degree in social/behavioral sciences and seven (7) years' experience in supervision, planning and/or administration. Some substitutions of experience and training for academic degree may be allowed.
          • Washington State Certified Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP), required.
          • Meet Washington State approved SUDP Supervisor requirements per WAC 246-811-049, required.
          • Ability to provide effective and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural beliefs and practices.
          • Knowledge of: clinical supervision, program development and administration; and community support model.
          • Experience managing personnel within a department or team.
          • Knowledge of peer-driven recovery support service.
          • Knowledge of and experience with: social service systems and requirements for City, County and Washington State; King County Behavioral Health system, including working with Managed Care Organizations, planning process, and requirements for integrated service coordination and delivery preferred.
          • Knowledge of developing and maintaining a departmental budget.
          • Effective ability to navigate a personal computer. Competency in use of the Microsoft Office and other relevant software for word processing, calendaring, email, and data entry. Efficiently research and perform various tasks via the internet.
          • A valid driver's license or the alternate ability to travel in a timely manner to locations that may not be accessible by public transportation is required. Working Conditions: Regularly required to walk; use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work is performed primarily in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
