Job Description:
Position: Senior QA Engineer (Seattle, WA) Duties: Analyze client requirements and internal design
documents to develop test cases that will be used in the application testing
process. Ensure a high level of quality in new applications and
application updates delivered by the Outbound Consulting Services group. Communicate
with clients to review test plans and provide support for external
integration and acceptance testing. Leverage internal tools and processes to
construct test environments and execute test cases. Collaborate with
project team members to ensure test plans address business requirements and
application functionality. Troubleshoot and report defects utilizing the
Jira defect tracking tool, and ensure issue resolution within allotted
project timeline. Monitor testing progress, as well as potential risks
and concerns related to quality and on-time delivery. Oversee
project workload and delivery schedule. Lead and mentor junior team members.
Design and implement automation scripts to increase productivity. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a
related field and three (3) years of experience developing QA automation tests
for software products; OR, in the alternative, Bachelor’s degree
(or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of
experience as indicated above. Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): leveraging HP Quality
Center to design and implement test plans and test cases according to
functional specifications for software application environments; DE
creating reports and documenting QA issues utilizing Bugzilla and HP Quality
Center Defect Tracking Module; DE performing API testing and validating
application performance with SoapUI; and DE designing and implementing
